Everyone from the opening band stops by to party, and a drunk guy about my age with black hair and a thrift store wool sweater rants to me about Facebook and its cultural significance. I nod politely and stare straight ahead, at the campy portrait of Jesus on the opposite wall. The guy keeps on bringing up cute phrases like “the decline of privacy” and then trailing off before completing the thought. His lecture would be interesting if it actually made grammatical sense.
