In which the house party and I finally reach an agreement, and I play a record that makes them all start dancing and mark the moment with a one-drink salute. I cannot remember what it was on account of I was VERY drunk. Possibly Justin Timberlake’s Rock Your Body, possibly a Destiny’s Child song. I know that whatever it was I followed it with Single Ladies and then Feeling This and then Sugar We’re Going Down and then Call Me Maybe. Or something like that. Cannot emphasise enough how I was really not in any state to be DJing.
